Blah on today

Mom has been here almost a week, and today she goes home. That sucks...

Its been 1 year...

So.. It's been a year now, and just look at the changes in my life.

I've lost 100 pounds exactly 1 year after I started.

Brian and I have bought our first house.

I'm working full time at a job I love with great pay.

I'm attending college half-time for my associate's degree as a paralegal. I received 2 a's on my first quarter, and I've got a very high b and an a going in my second quarter.

My children are doing well enough in school, and Vincent is making his college choices.

I lost my father, but my mother and I have never been closer. I know my dad is still watching out for me, still proud of me. I still miss him, almost daily, but it only really hurts now and then. Today, when I got on the scale, my eyes filled up with tears just wishing I could run out and call him, telling him I'd done it... that I'd finally lost 100 pounds. I know I've got some more to go to be really ideal, but 100 pounds.... I never ever thought I'd say that in my lifetime.

My mother is coming to visit this week, she'll be the first family to see the house. I've got a big surprise for her, but I won't post it in case she comes and reads this before then.

Our cats are doing wonderfully.. Vala found a new home, and Razor is fitting in well. Creeper is finally back to herself for the most part.

Life is very very good... I'm content and things feel like what they should have been all along. I'm very grateful and thankful for the blessings in my life.

Just haven't really felt like blogging..

Still enjoy work, still love the house. Enjoying the new kitten (yes its the last) and school is good.

Just sorta tired and enjoying my evenings away from the computer.
