Week off, but I'm here
Well I didn't have time or energy to post for a week, so updating now.
The job, is absolutely freaking wonderful. I love the people, the work, the distance from home. I love everything about it. The pay is kick ass, I can log on during work (on breaks of course) to do my course work, when I found that out I was SOOO happy.
THe house is wonderful, perfect even. I spent all today out in the dirt making flower beds and planting. Bit more to do tomorrow, and I'll be done for a while there. Got our first lawnmower, and Brian will crack that baby out tomorrow.
School is going well, even though its been rough fitting it all in this week. Week long units in the future will be VERY hard. I'm still on track, going to take my quizes in the morning while everyone is still in bed and work on homework then as well. This is the last unit for these two classes, a couple weeks off and then my next two classes start. Those will be intro to paralegal and computer applications. Wee?
Weight loss, if you see the bar up top, I'm doing just fine. I lost 3 pounds the first week here, and its still going down, even though I haven't had time or energy to exercise. I need to fit that back into my routine, I am missing the energy it gives me for the day. About 8-9 pm I peter out and am falling asleep on the couch. Course, that could be cause I'm working my first 40 hour week ever.
I'm happy... I'm content... My life is moving forward and things are going well. Nothing is perfect, and it shouldn't be. If it was I'd worry. Theres just enough on the not perfect side of the fence that it keeps me going without worry that something big is hiding around the corner.
I can't wait for my mom to come visit in a couple months. That will be wonderful to spend time with her. Work already said I can take half days (weeee) and I can also make up the hours ahead of time too.
